Kevin is known to push the boundaries of physical spaces with iconic, yet elegant, solutions that complement a client’s brand and ethos. Getting to the root of who a client is and what they stand for is key in making a space breathe life, especially for those who work day-in and day-out there. Kevin seeks out those solutions through a personable approach between all partners involved that makes for a collaborative and open environment.
With over 18 years of experience, Kevin has maintained this approach as Principal and architect at geniant. Kevin’s work has yielded recognition from top outlets across the globe, including an AIA building award for The Field Chapel, AIA Interior Award for 33 E Washington and Pandora, which features a Michael Jackson light up floor.
While Kevin is always thinking about the bigger picture for his clients, he’s also incredibly detailed oriented. This is partially due to the fact that he comes from a family of craftsmen where creativity and problem solving were highly encouraged. That focus and detail oriented approach allows him to carry that same thinking through today, where he’s able to think of the things that are often overlooked.
When Kevin’s not in the studio, he mentors students and assists the design-build program at IIT. He can also be found on the golf course or out walking his dog, Hunter.
