Since starting at geniant, formerly Eastlake Studio, in 2014, Peter has exercised his multifaceted talent and insightful design expertise on a wide variety of projects. His work includes a broad range of scales and programs, from workplace headquarters, to showrooms, luxury residential, community engagement, and showroom spaces.

In 2018, Peter took the lead on creating the multipurpose entry and mezzanine level of the new Chicago Tribune headquarters, transforming a disused bank branch into the newspaper’s entrance, studios, board rooms, and company cafe. He also led Eastlake’s submission for Between States, part of the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial, Work Design Magazine’s Next Work Environment 2021 Competition, and the 2021 Chicago Prize. His recent work has focused on showroom projects in Chicago and Boston for Kimball International and large midwest Headquarters projects for iManage and Tock Squarespace.

Peter is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he received his Bachelor of Architecture degree. While studying there, he received the AIA Henry Adams Certificate of Merit for his academic work and earned recognition for his work with the dean of the school on architectural installations and exhibitions. In his spare time, Peter can be spotted drinking prosecco while discussing architectural theory with his charming boyfriend.
