For more than 100 years, Gannett Fleming has been a leader in engineered global infrastructure solutions with a focus on planning, design, technology, and construction management services. Their new office in Prudential Plaza was a consolidation of their regional location with a recently acquired competitor. We worked with a remote project manager based in Philadelphia to implement established corporate standards. Looking to create a subtle engineering statement, we convinced our client to incorporate a creative ceiling solution utilizing trussed panels that connect primary public spaces from the elevator lobby to the main conference room. We also created a training room that employs a moveable partition to connect with an adjacent cafe for large meetings and events. The design incorporates strong elements into a conservative framework, but works within the constraints of a modest tenant improvement allowance.
